To get to know each other and ourselves, and to start investigating what makes us special...we have been asking questions then making graphs to share the answers.
Our most recent graph answers the question
"Do you have any pets?"......
We drew our face in the columns for the pets we have. We found out that some of us didn't have any pets!!! Then we talked about what the graph showed us....
- Cats are the most - Juliana
- Frogs are the least (except birds) - Tatenda
- Fish are in the middle - Juliana
Cats are more than......
- All of them - Brooklyn
- Dogs - Samuel/Ashleigh
- Frogs - Finn/Juliana
Frogs are less than.......
- Fish - Benjamin
- Dogs - Brooklyn
After talking about some new words we decided that some of us were
prestructural in our learning (not yet able to talk about what we could see), some of us were
unistructural (could say 1 thing we could see) and Juliana was possibly
multistructural because she could talk about several things the graph showed.
