- Our Final School Assembly is on Tuesday 15th Dec in the Hall, starting at 9:30am. All are welcome to attend.
- REPORTS come home also on Tuesday 15th Dec with your child, sharing your child's successes for the year and areas for future development next year. The report also has your child's 2010 class and teacher on it.

Shadows
On Friday it was (finally) sunny enough to get outside and see our shadows. We talked about what made the shadow, and agree that is is our body stopping the light from the sun.
We went outside and chalked around our shadows with a buddy. You'll never guess what happened...????

They moved!!!!!

They moved!!!!!
Our shadows moved around to our left and got smaller through the day!
They were a bit bigger by the end of the afternoon, but were round behind us!

As well as finding they moved, we noticed that we could feel the sun on different places on our bodies at different times...first our back, then our neck, then the top of our heads, and the last time we went out it was shining in our faces! We think that maybe the sun is moving across the sky during the day. We'll have to find out if this is true?!
