We met Harold!
On Wednesday we met Corinne and her friend Harold! We went into Corinne's classroom
which was quite different from Room 2. We talked about how special we are
then waited for some V.I.P's to arrive...it was us! Her friend Harold was friendly
We learned that our bodies need: water
food, exercise, sleep, shelter, oxygen and love.

The Life Education caravan will be with us for the next 2 weeks - each class has 2 sessions with Corinne and her friends in the caravan. Watch this space for some of the fun things we do, and have a look here at the Life Education website...it's a good one! You can play the
"Who am I?" game,
listen to Harold's favourite songs, play a
"Food Aim" game,
email Harold and lots more. There's an area for parents as well.

What a great morning!.....
What a great morning we had with David Poulton's "Wok and Wal" puppet performance! David told us about the 5 different 'genres' of puppetry - hand, rod, string, shadow and Bunraku. He introduced us to some improvisation puppetry using a mop, bucket and ball. His puppet Albert swallowed a very long sword (which got stuck!!). He told us a story called 'Stone Soup' about sharing. After that the naughty puppet Wok fell off a very high diving board after an elephant drank all the water in the swimming pool. David showed us how to make an elephant mask - we'll have to try it! Lastly he told us a story about looking after eggs in nests. We had so much fun......
- 'it was fun' said Tatenda
- 'the egg cracked and it was funny' said J
- 'the bird was funny when the crocodile came, because he was fighting the egg' said Harrison
